Ethne Cameron
brings a wealth of experience to the company. With over 30
years in the African travel industry she has effectively
redefined conferencing and tourism within Mpumalanga and
Southern Africa as a whole. Her travel company, Going
Africa, is marketed entirely by word-of-mouth and she has
gained a reputation for her special blend of professional
hospitality and personal dedication to all of her
undertakings. Over the years she has helped to ensure the
success of international conferences big and small; her
clients return time and time again, as much to see the
wonders of this continent as to visit Ethne and relax in the
knowledge that they are in the very best of hands.
Ethne is backed-up by the unflinching support of her husband
Malcolm Cameron. Malcolm is a man of many talents: a
successful Lowveld farmer, he is currently specialising in
Macadamia nuts on their farm in White River. Growing up with
the African Bush at his doorstep, he has developed a deep
understanding of South African history and its many
cultures. To top it all off, Malcolm is the most gracious of
hosts, opening his heart and doors to the many international
visitors the Camerons welcome every year. He has travelled
the continent extensively and knows how to get the very best
out of life in Africa.

Susie and Richard Prangley joined the Going Africa
Conferencing Team at the start of 2009. Having gained
international hospitality experience, they are excited to be
back in their home country of South Africa and are
enthusiastic about the opportunities that exist here. They
will be responsible for onsite hosting and the coordinating
of logistics during conferences and events. Their experience
within the travel industry means they are well equipped to
handle conference bookings and registration, and their
personal knowledge of Africa means they can confidently
recommend destinations throughout Southern and Eastern
Africa.
In 2009, Rich and Susie worked closely with Ethne on a
number of key agricultural and scientific international
conferences, and they will be continuing to provide the same
level of quality and expertise that Going Africa has become
so well known for. The two of them have a travel company
called African Avenue, placing them in an ideal position to
assist with smaller family and individual travel groups.
